Boogie Data vs AirDNA
For short-term rental investors and analysts choosing a data source. AirDNA works today and has the longer history; Boogie Data's API and MCP server open soon, and our history is short (since September 2026). What we offer is a self-serve API and an MCP server, priced per town. Every AirDNA fact below links to its source and the date we read it. To hear when they open, join the waitlist.
Who each is for
- AirDNA: People who want short-term rental market figures: daily rates, and occupancy, ADR and revenue updated weekly.
- Boogie Data: Investors, analysts and AI agents who want town-level rental data as rows, priced per town.
Where AirDNA is stronger
- Far longer history: enterprise monthly property files as far back as 2014. (enterprise-help.airdna.co, checked 2 November 2026)
- Occupancy, ADR and revenue already computed for each market, updated weekly, with daily rates. (help.airdna.co, checked 2 November 2026)
Where Boogie Data is stronger
- A self-serve API with published (planned) per-slice prices, opening at launch. AirDNA's API keys come from its sales team, and its API price and rate limits are not published. (airdna.redoc.ly, checked 2 November 2026)
- An MCP server, so an AI agent can find a town and read its rows directly. AirDNA's API documentation mentions no MCP server. (airdna.redoc.ly, checked 2 November 2026)
- Local short-term rental rules per town (permit required, permit caps, moratoriums) with a source link and the date we last checked them, sold as a separate dataset.
Side by side

| Price | $5 a month ($50 a year) for one town in one dataset: everything we have collected for that town, kept current, over the API and MCP. $9 a month ($90 a year) for every town in one dataset. Each dataset is priced separately, so add up the towns and datasets you need. A one-time download of one town's last 7 days in one dataset is $2. Planned launch prices; nothing is for sale yet. Pricing | Could not confirm: the pricing page refused our reader and the plans article is gone. | airdna.co, checked 2 November 2026 |
| Free option | A fixed sample and one free month per dataset when the API opens; free tools now. | Could not confirm: the pricing page refused our reader. | airdna.co, checked 2 November 2026 |

| History | Short: Airbnb listing and calendar observations since September 2026, and Inside Airbnb snapshots since June 2026. | Updates | Collected every night; each town is revisited daily or weekly. | Rates daily; occupancy, ADR and revenue weekly; revenue calculator monthly. | help.airdna.co, checked 2 November 2026 |
AirDNA facts are from its own public pages on the date shown in each row; prices and plans change, so check the source before you decide. Boogie Data prices are planned launch prices.
What we don't have yet
History starts in September 2026 (Inside Airbnb snapshots in June 2026). We have no app or dashboard and no revenue estimate for a single address: the data comes as rows over the API and MCP.
