The Boogie Data API and MCP server are launching soon. Reports, fee calculators and methodology on this site are live now.

For short-term rental investors

Size up a town before you buy or price a listing: nightly rates, availability, listing supply and local rules, observed day by day instead of guessed from a few searches.

The data

23 datasets in the short-term rentals family are planned for launch (as of 31 October 2026). They open with the API.

Live now, free: the Florida Keys, FL and Hatteras Island (Outer Banks), NC short-term rental reports, with sample sizes and observation dates.

An example question

How have nightly rates and the number of active listings moved in this town over the last 30 days?

Where to start

  1. Find the dataset with search_datasets.
  2. Read its fields and coverage dates with describe_dataset, then list its slices with find_slices. A slice is one town, card category or comic segment.
  3. Pull rows for one slice and date range with query_rows. This needs an API key at launch.

The calls below show step 1 as it will work at launch.

REST

curl 'https://api.boogiedata.com/v1/datasets?domain=str'

MCP tool search_datasets

{
  "domain": "str"
}

For agents: Copy dataset and slice IDs from these responses; never guess them. See the quickstart.

Which plan

One town on a one-slice plan; a 30-day snapshot answers a one-off question. See pricing.
