Stay total

Stay total: The headline price a booking quote shows for a whole stay, after any discount for a longer stay and before taxes.

How we measure it

It comes from the same forward quote as the nightly rate, with the number of nights the quote covers recorded beside it.

What it is not

It is not the nightly rate multiplied by the nights: stay discounts and minimum stays change it.

Where it appears in the data

Field names as the API returns them; each dataset's page in the API lists the field's type and unit.
