Active listings: The number of short-term rental listings a public search page reports for a destination.
How we measure it
We record the destination total the page publishes, each month, with the date.
What it is not
It counts what the platform shows, not licensed units, and one property can appear as more than one listing.
Where it appears in the data
Field names as the API returns them; each dataset's page in the API lists the field's type and unit.
