# Seller fee

**Seller fee:** What a venue takes from the sale price before paying the seller.

## How we measure it

We record the percentage and any flat amount from the venue's published fee page, for each price band.

## What it is not

Payment processing can be charged separately; the calculator shows it when the venue publishes it.

## Where it appears in the data

Field names as the API returns them; each dataset's page in the API lists the field's type and unit.
