# Buyer's premium

> The Boogie Data API and MCP server are launching soon. Reports, fee calculators and methodology on this site are live now.

**Buyer's premium:** A percentage an auction house adds to the winning bid, paid by the buyer.

## How we measure it

We record the rate from the venue's fee page, and from the lot's own notice when it prints one.

## What it is not

A hammer price without the premium understates what the buyer paid.

## Where it appears in the data

Field names as the API returns them; each dataset's page in the API lists the field's type and unit.

- `fee_kind` in dataset `collectibles_fees`
- `premium_notice_pct` in dataset `comicconnect_results`
